Rocket City Microschool
What is a Microschool?
A Microschool is an academic program focused on keeping student-to-teacher ratios low in order to provide as much personalized support as possible. Microschools are often described as a middle point between home schooling and private school.
The mission of Rocket City Microschool is to provide high-quality academic programs in a small group setting.

Yes, you are welcome to drop your child off for Microschool programs and are not required to stay on campus. In the event that a child has behavioral concerns or issues with separation, we may ask the parent to stay on campus during class times.
Do I need to be a member of your Co-Op?
Microschool is a separate program from our Co-op that meets on Thursdays. You can be a member of Microschool without being a member of Rocket City Homeschool Co-Op.
Most of our Microschool families are also Co-Op members. Being a Co-op member gives you access to our many field trips, holiday parties, family events, and our vast educational lending library, as well as the opportunity to attend Thursday co-op classes! To inquire about registering for RCHC, email rocketcityhomeschoolcoop@learnhsv.org.
I’m interested in this program. How do I set up an interview?
E-mail our director, Jane Reed, at jreed@learnhsv.org. We want to be able to meet with each family so they are able to determine whether this program would be a great fit for their family.
